Description
Stinging nettle (Urtica dioica) is a herbaceous perennial flowering plant native to Europe, Asia, northern Africa, and North America. It grows 1-2 meters tall and has serrated dark green leaves covered in stinging hairs.
The plant has been used medicinally for centuries.
Stinging nettle tincture is made by soaking the leaves and stems of the nettle plant in alcohol to extract its beneficial compounds.
The resulting liquid is a concentrated herbal preparation.
Traditional Uses
Stinging nettle has a long history of use in traditional medicine for various purposes:
