Synergy | Recipe - Basil & Eucalyptus Sinus Relief Inhaler

  1. 5 ml Basil essential oil (Ocimum basilicum)
  2. 10 ml Eucalyptus essential oil (Eucalyptus globulus)
  3. 10 ml Rosemary essential oil (Rosmarinus officinalis)
  4. 75 ml Grapeseed carrier oil (Vitis vinifera)
  5. Cotton wick or cotton ball
  6. Aromatherapy inhaler or small glass jar with a lid

How to mix: In a small bowl, mix together the Basil essential oil, Eucalyptus essential oil, and Rosemary essential oil. Soak a cotton wick or cotton ball in the essential oil blend until it is fully saturated. Place the saturated wick or cotton ball into an aromatherapy inhaler or a small glass jar with a lid. Add the Grapeseed carrier oil to dilute the mixture slightly and provide a smooth inhalation experience.

Caution: When using essential oils, it is crucial to always dilute them with a carrier oil or in a diffuser, as applying undiluted oils directly to the skin may cause irritation or adverse reactions.

Additionally, it is highly recommended to perform a patch test before using any essential oil for the first time.

To conduct a patch test, dilute a small amount of the essential oil in a carrier oil and apply it to a small area of your skin. Wait for 24 hours to observe any signs of redness, itching, or irritation.

If you experience any adverse reactions, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Remember, essential oils are highly concentrated plant extracts and should be used with caution to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
