Our sweet Basil essential oil aroma is as delicious as fresh cut basil leaves. Linalool is the major natural component in our Basil essential oil (> 56 %). This chemotype makes it a soft, tonic. Energizing and very purifying oil. Basil essential oil is widely used in the Perfumery world for its rich, spicy yet fresh, herbaceous, and green characteristics.

INSTRUCTIONS OF USE

Remember: For all skin, hair or body contact uses, Essential Oils must be diluted in a suitable carrier support (carrier oil, cream, lotion, vegetable glycerine, conditioner, liquid soap or shower gel) before application.

use 1 to 6 drops essential oil for 10 ml carrier oil (0.5 to 2 % concentration).

  • Face care: +++ 

use 1 to 3 drops essential oil for 10 ml carrier or base (0.5 to 1 % concentration) 

  • Body & Hair care use: ++ 

2 to 6 drops essential oil for 10 ml carrier or base (1 to 2 % concentration) 

  • Bath: ++ 

First mix 10 to 15 drops of essential oil with 20 ml vegetable glycerine or 1 cup of Epsom salts 

 

  • Diffusion, Ultrasonic Diffusers for air purification: +++ 

use 10 min 3 times a day.

 

  • Inhalation: +++

A few deep inhalations from the bottle directly, or 1 to 2 drops on a tissue; mix 1 drops of essential oil per 4 drops of a carrier oil, mix and apply 1 drop on each inner wrist, and inhale deeply. 

 

  • Cooking +++

1 drop added 3 Tablespoons of cooled melted butter, olive oil, syrup, or honey. Prepare the mix in advance (to taste its strength) and drizzle at the end of your preparations. Brings a powerful Basil aroma to any dish. Make Aromatic butters, oils, vinaigrette, creams, or mayonnaises to complement your roast or cold vegetable salads, fish, or meat dishes. Add to Pesto preparations or cold tomato sauces. Drizzle a few drops of your oily mix on soups. Create special salts or even surprising sugar blends. Great on refreshing fruits salads (with Watermelons) or in your sweet and sour sauces.
