2. Purpose of This Manual
This manual enables the public to:
- Identify records held by eoil.co.za that are automatically available (e.g., product catalogs, public policies).
- Understand how to submit PAIA requests for non-public records.
- Access details about personal information processing under POPIA.
3. Records Automatically Available
The following records are publicly accessible without a formal PAIA request:
- Product catalogs (essential oils, aromatherapy products, and cosmetics).
- Terms and Conditions (online sales and returns policy).
- Privacy Policy (data collection and usage practices).

6. How to Submit a PAIA Request
Step 1: Download the Form C request template from the Information Regulator’s website.
Step 2: Submit the completed form to admin@eoil.co.za with:
- Proof of identity (SA ID/passport).
- R85 application fee (non-refundable).
- Detailed description of the record(s) requested.
Step 3: eoil.co.za will respond within 30 days (extendable under PAIA Section 26).
7. Grounds for Refusal
Requests may be denied if they:
- Threaten privacy/commercial confidentiality (e.g., trade secrets).
- Contain legally privileged information.
- Are frivolous, overly broad, or involve third-party data without consent.
