The oil has a fresh, balsamic, and slightly sweet aroma, and is known for its various properties and benefits.

Some of the primary properties and benefits of Lentisque Mastic essential oil include:

  1. Respiratory support: Lentisque Mastic essential oil has expectorant properties, which can help to clear congestion and promote easier breathing. It is often used in aromatherapy to alleviate symptoms associated with respiratory issues such as colds, coughs, bronchitis, and asthma.
  2. Anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties: The oil is known to possess anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties, which can help to reduce inflammation and alleviate pain. It may be used topically in diluted form to relieve muscle aches, joint pain, and other types of discomfort.
  3. Antimicrobial properties: Lentisque Mastic essential oil exhibits antimicrobial activity against various bacteria, fungi, and viruses. This makes it a valuable addition to natural cleaning products and can also be used in skincare formulations to help manage acne or other skin conditions caused by bacteria.
  4. Skin health: The oil's astringent properties can help to tighten and tone the skin, making it a useful ingredient in skincare products formulated for mature or sagging skin. Its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties may also benefit individuals with acne-prone or sensitive skin.
  5. Circulatory support: Lentisque Mastic essential oil is believed to have a positive effect on the circulatory system, promoting healthy blood flow and potentially reducing symptoms of varicose veins or hemorrhoids.
