Infuse for 2 to 3 minutes. Infusions with dried hibiscus flowers can be enjoyed both cold and hot. The longer the flower is allowed to infuse, the pinker and more acidic the infusion might become. Also, the natural flavour compounds in fruit teas are volatiles and their soothing olfactory benefits might be weakened if the tea is brewed for too long. Part of the comforting experience of fruit tea is to enjoy, taste and breathe-in their aromas with all your senses (warmth, freshness, fizz…) while you drink.

(Hibiscus flowers are traditionally used on the skin, to help soothe, hydrate and regenerate dry and very dry skin conditions. Their anti-inflammatory properties are perfect used for mature, dull, stressed or even sensitive skin care)

Use a bit of your infusion when making a face or hair mask instead of water.
