EXTRACTION METHOD: Cold pressed, unrefined, non-deodorized. Mechanical extraction. Hexane-free. No chemicals used during processing.

 

APPEARANCE: Creamy white, shredded butter Remain solid at room temperature but will soften and melt rapidly on contact with skin due to the melting point of cocoa butter (~34-37°C). In warmer environments, especially above 25°C, it may become softer or semi-melted. Pure Coconut oil keeps it solid under 20°C but ensures a silky melt above that temperature; ODOUR: Natural, from plants, distinct cocoa-nutty aroma.

As an intensive repair Body Butter & Massage Balm

 

  • Body Moisturizer: Massage onto clean skin 1-2 times a day—ideal straight after bathing for deep hydration. The butter melts instantly, absorbs quickly, and leaves a non-greasy yet nourished feel, with a gentle cocoa-nut aroma.
  • Targeted Treatment: Rub into dry, cracked areas—heels, elbows, or hands—as an intensive overnight treatment. Safe for sensitive skin, thanks to the non-irritant, antioxidant-rich oils.
  • Massage Butter: Warm a small amount between palms to liquefy for self- or professional massage. The glide is perfect for relaxation and skin nourishment.

 

As a Hair Treatment

 

  • Dry, Brittle, or Damaged Hair: Use as a pre-shampoo mask—apply a small amount, warm it between palms, and work through lengths and ends. Leave for 30+ minutes before washing out.
  • Curly, coarse, dry Hair: Perfect for LOC (Leave-In, Oil, Cream) method to seal moisture and define curls.
  • Scalp: Apply sparingly for dry, flaky scalp as an overnight treatment.

 

For Slightly Heated Use

 

  • Bain-Marie: Place desired amount in a glass bowl/jar and warm gently in hot water until soft. Do not overheat—just enough to melt for easier spreading or drizzling onto the skin.
  • Oil/Melt Burner: Add a spoonful to a ceramic pouring pot (cup) on top of an oil burner, until just melted into a ready-to-apply liquid massage oil.

RECIPES

 

  • Always personalize with appropriate dilutions: For essential oils in body, face, and wellness blends, keep total concentration between 0.5% (face) and 2% (body) for adults. Use unscented for babies and fragile skins.
  • Body butters can also be used as the base for whipped blends, combining with lighter oils (sunflower, jojoba, grapeseed), Aloe vera gels and aerating for a lighter texture.
  • For solid creations: Combine your base with waxes (beeswax or plant wax) for bars, balms, or solid perfumes.

 

Massage Bars: Gently melt shredded butter (e.g., 100g), pour into silicone moulds, and let cool to solidify. For more firmness, add 15–20g of beeswax.

 

Balms: Melt equal parts of the butter and a carrier oil (e.g., 50g shredded butter + 50g sweet almond oil), with 10–20g beeswax for thicker consistency. Perfect as hand, foot, or lip balm.

 

Whipped Butter: Soften (not fully melt) 100g of shredded butter, then whip with 10–20g of light oil (sunflower or grapeseed) and Aloe vera. 

Add essential oils for extra benefits or natural fragrance, (e.g., 10–20 drops per 100g blend) 

 

Massage Bars

 

  • Simple Blend: Melt shredded butter, pour into silicone moulds, let cool to harden.
  • Basic Recipe: Use our base butter (100g) with 15-20g of beeswax or Botaniwax for more firmness. For extra slip, add 10g more coconut oil.
  • Added Essential Oils: For aromatherapy, add 10-20 drops of essential oil per 100g melted base before setting in the mould.

 

Balms (for skin, lips, cuticles)

 

  • Base Blend: Melt your shredded butter with equal parts carrier oil (e.g., sweet almond or jojoba) for a softer balm or add extra beeswax for firmness.
  • Typical Ratio: 1 part body butter: 1 part beeswax: 1–2 parts carrier oil; adjust to desired texture.
  • Custom Balms: Infuse with calendula or chamomile for healing salves or add menthol/eucalyptus for a chest balm.

 

Whipped Butter

 

  • Method: Soften 100g shredded butter (do not fully melt), whip with a mixer, slowly drizzle in 10-20g (1–2Tbsp) of a light plant oil (grapeseed, sunflower), and 10-20 drops essential oils if desired. Whip until airy, then jar and store cool.
  • Essential Oils: Lavender for calming, orange or grapefruit for uplifting, tea tree for antimicrobial.

  • Marula Oil (Sclerocarya birrea): Cold pressed from seeds/kernels. From Southern Africa. Namibia, Mozambique and South Africa local peoples have used marula oil traditionally for skin and hair care forever, particularly for babies and as a beauty preparation in ritual contexts. This is a precious and Specialty oil, Lightweight, fast-absorbing, rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants (High in Omega 9, Vitamin E, and Phytosterols-skin barrier and micro-circulation).   • Coconut Oil (Cocos nucifera): Cold pressed (expeller pressed). Extensively used in West, East, and Southern Africa, South Asia, and the Caribbean for centuries. Vitamin A and E. Nourishing to hair, especially good for dry, curly, easily dehydrated hair, excellent for dry, irritated, fragilized skins. Hydrates, soothes, calms redness and inflammation. Contains antimicrobial lauric acid, beneficial for both dry and acne-prone skin (moderate uses) and hair. Solidifies below 20°C, which contributes to the product’s soft solid consistency.
  • Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao): Cold pressed from the seeds (beans).From  West and Central Africa & the Americas, Ancient Central and South American cultures (Mayans, Aztecs) regarded cacao as sacred and cherished the fat (cocoa butter) for its protective qualities on skin. Non-deodorized. Contains theobromine, caffeine, polyphenols, vitamin E. Nourishing, rejuvenating, skin barrier protecting. Excellent for dry skin and lips, hair. Hard butter, emollient, imparts a rich, chocolatey aroma, melts at ~34-37°C (just below body temperature), giving the blend its melting-on-skin character.
