In many African countries (Senegal, Guinea, Ivory coast), Hibiscus (Bissap, Roselle) sabdariffa flowers, leaves, seeds, and its oil are used as much in food consumption, as in cosmetic care. Roselle seeds are a rich source of proteins and vitamin E (tocopherols), as 6x more than Olive oil an 20X more than Grapeseed oil.

Used traditionally in their daily skin and hair care, by many cultures around the world (India, Indonesia, Malaysia, West Africa), Hibiscus seed oil is indeed a softening, moisturizing, hydrating and very protective oil.

It contains high amounts of Essential fatty acids, known to play an important role in the maintain, protection and renewal of our skin barrier.

The highly antioxidant Hibiscus seed cold-pressed oil is incorporated into the composition of many deeply hydrating “anti-aging” or maturing skincare and, in haircare formulas that target hair losses or hair re-growth (beta-sitosterol).
