EXTRACTION METHOD/ PROCESS: 

• GEL BASE: Carbomer-neutralised aqueous gel base (BP/Ph. Eur.): an Aqua vehicle structured with Carbomer (cross-linked polyacrylic acid, Ph. Eur. ‘Carbomers’ monograph), neutralised with Triethanolamine (Ph. Eur.) and preserved with the synergy system Benzyl Alcohol + Dehydroacetic Acid (Annex V, EU Cosmetic Regulation standard-GMP organic chemistry (Cosmos and EcoCert compliant preservative system)
• ACTIVE INGREDIENTS
• Sweet almond oil: cold press expelling and mechanical filtration. No chemical process involved-Hexane free;
• Peppermint essential oil, Spearmint essential oil, Tea tree essential oil, Wintergreen essential oil obtained by steam distillation of leaves;
• Lemon tea tree Hydrosol: obtained by hydro distillation of leaves. 

APPEARANCE: Translucent white gel. Cold, refreshing effect on skin. Spreads easily and absorbs fast. No tackiness or stickiness.

ODOUR: Strong, Fresh, clean herbal scent, minty/wintergreen aroma.

QUALITY: 100% pure cold-pressed Sweet almond oil; 100% pure and natural essential oils and hydrosol; BP and Ph.Eur. grade gel with Cosmos compliant preservative system.

STORAGE CONDITIONS:Store tightly closed in its original container at normal room temperature—ideally 15 – 25 °C—out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources or freezing conditions. Keep the cap clean to prevent contamination. Keep away from children and Pets reach.

HOW TO USE:

Our Pedicare gel contains wintergreen essential oil (high in natural methyl salicylate). Please READ the caution section BEFORE use.

1. Wash and dry feet/legs thoroughly.
2. Apply a thin layer to clean skin. Massage until gel is fully absorbed. Use morning, evening, or as needed for extra freshness.
3. Heavy leg (tired, achy, swollen legs): Use the gel for its cooling and soothing feel, especially after prolonged standing, traveling, or athletic activity. Apply from feet up to mid-calf with gentle upward massage
4. Circulatory support: Helps microcirculation and capillary flow, relieving the sensation of weight, fatigue, and swelling in legs and feet (not a substitute for medical treatment in cases of persistent swelling, circulatory disorders, or varicose veins- consult your doctor)

When to Apply:

• After washing and thoroughly drying feet (ideal after showers, sports, or end of day).
• Before wearing socks/shoes for a freshness boost.

Our Pedicare gel contains a small amount (0.2%) of pure wintergreen essential oil (CAS 68917-75-9), the natural botanical source of methyl salicylate. Therefore, Read the following caution points before use.

• External use only: Avoid use on eyes or mucous membranes.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Avoid eyes, mucous membranes, and broken or irritated skin.
• Not a substitute for medical antifungal treatment in persistent infections.
• Do not use if you are taking anticoagulants (blood thinners like warfarin, aspirin, clopidogrel, etc.); Do not /mix/layer Pedicare gel together with any other medically prescribed rub, gel, patch, or lotion that also lists methyl salicylate, salicylic acid, or “aspirin-like” ingredients. Follow your healthcare professional or your GP instructions/ prescription.
• Confirm with a doctor if you have advanced diabetic neuropathy, circulatory disorders, psoriasis, or eczema on the feet. Get clearance BEFORE use
• Do not use if you are allergic to aspirin/salicylates:  If you have a medically confirmed salicylate (aspirin) allergy or if you take prescription anticoagulants (systemic anticoagulants or other salicylate-based medicines e.g., warfarin), Consult your GP and Get clearance BEFORE use.
• Do not use if you are scheduled soon for surgery or dental procedures.
• Discontinue use if redness, rash, or irritation occurs: If you notice persistent redness, ringing in the ears, or a strong wintergreen odour on the breath, stop use and consult a healthcare professional.
• During pregnancy, use only after the first trimester and only on local areas (between toes…); Consult your healthcare provider before use, discontinue if any irritation appears.
• Consult a healthcare professional before resuming during lactation.
• Do not use the pedicare cream on infants and children under 6 years old (their skin absorbs salicylates faster)
• Avoid applying over large skin areas or using under occlusive dressings.
• Apply strictly to intact skins. Avoid on open cuts, fresh blisters, open skin ulcers, post-surgical wounds, severe burns, severe plant warts, infected skins or weeping eczema. Seek medical treatment first.
• Do not cover treated skin with an occlusive, airtight dressing; salicylate uptake accelerates under occlusion. Cotton socks are fine.
