Beeswax Absolute

Apis mellifera

A RICH, INTENSELY HONEYED ANCHOR FROM THE BEEHIVE. OBTAINED FROM HONEYCOMB THROUGH SOLVENT EXTRACTION TO PRODUCE A CONCRETE, WHICH IS THEN TREATED WITH ALCOHOL, THIS PURE ABSOLUTE IS A VISCOUS TO SOLID GOLDEN-BROWN SUBSTANCE. PRIZED IN NATURAL PERFUMERY AS AN OUTSTANDING BASE NOTE AND SCENT FIXATIVE, IT OFFERS A RICH HONEY-LIKE AROMA WITH SUBTLE BALSAMIC AND TOBACCO UNDERTONES THAT REFLECT THE FLORAL ECOSYSTEMS VISITED BY THE BEES.
