How to Use Benzoin Absolute
Benzoin Absolute is a very thick oil, so you may need to warm it gently to make it easier to work with.
To Fluidify the Oil:
Place the tightly closed bottle in a glass of warm water.
Once fluid, carefully remove the dropper and use the provided pipette or wooden stick to dispense drops.
Alternatively, you can dilute a small amount with a carrier oil of your choice.
For Use:
Massage & Body Care: Mix 1 drop of Benzoin Absolute with 4 drops of a carrier oil for relaxing massages, muscle preparation, or skin regeneration. For hair care, use 1 drop per 10 ml of carrier oil or 2-3 drops per 100 ml of shampoo or conditioner.
Diffusion & Inhalation: Use 1 drop in a diffuser or oil burner, often in combination with other essential oils, to create a relaxing and comforting atmosphere.
Perfume & Tinctures: Benzoin Absolute is soluble in perfume bases (ethanol 95% or higher) and carrier oils, but not in water. For a tincture, a good ratio is 1 part Benzoin Absolute to 10 parts of a perfume base.
Important Tip: This is a powerful, undiluted absolute. A little goes a long way, so use it sparingly.
