More About Jasmine Absolute
Originating likely from Persia, jasmine has been celebrated for centuries — known as the “King of Flowers” or “Queen of Nights”.
Around 1000 kg of hand-picked flowers are needed to obtain 1 kg of absolute. Flowers must be processed immediately after harvest to ensure fragrance quality.
These fragile blossoms cannot be steam distilled — solvent extraction is required to preserve their complex scent.
True jasmine absolute is labour-intensive and rare, explaining its high value.
