SHORT DESCRIPTION & INTERESTING FACTS

  • An Ancestral Tradition: The extraction of pure Laurel Berry oil for skincare, hygiene, and body care is an ancient tradition native to rural village cooperatives across Turkey, Syria, and Greece.
  • The Soul of Aleppo Soap: Laurel berry carrier oil is the defining ingredient of the legendary Aleppo soap from Syria. Alongside Castile soap and African Black soap, Aleppo soap is one of the earliest recorded pure vegetable soaps in human history.
  • A Real Fruit Pulp Oil: Unlike cheap macerated infusions made by steeping bay leaves in a cheap base oil, this is a 100% pure, unrefined, fixed carrier oil mechanically extracted from the fleshy fruit pulp of the berries (with the seeds removed, as laurel seed oil is not authorized for cosmetic use).
  • Naturally Rich and Non-Greasy: Although this aromatic green oil is highly rich and penetrates the skin slowly to provide deep barrier relief, it does not leave a greasy or sticky residue behind.

For Skin & Hair Care:
  • Antibacterial & Antiseptic: Deeply sanitizes, cleanses, and purifies acne-prone, oily, and blemish-prone skin.

For Mind & Wellbeing:
  • Soothing Muscle & Joint Care: Highly recommended for warming massages to relieve stiff joints, arthritic discomfort, sprained muscles, and physical fatigue.
  • Emotional Relaxation: Its fresh, peppery aroma has a grounding, de-stressing, and calming effect on the nervous system.

HOW TO USE

  • Targeted Application (Maximum 40% to 50% Dilution): For concentrated use on minor skin infections, blemishes, or localized irritations, dilute with another gentle carrier oil (such as Jojoba, Argan, or Rosehip) at a 40% to 50% ratio.
  • Daily Face & Body Care (Suggested 10% to 20% Dilution): For dry, sensitive, or atopic skin, dilute to about 20% in a protective base such as Shea Butter, Sweet Almond oil, or Macadamia oil.

ABOUT LAUREL BERRY

The noble bay laurel (Laurus nobilis) has been revered since antiquity. While the leaves are steam-distilled to produce Bay Laurel essential oil, the dark, ripe berries are traditionally boiled in water by village cooperatives to capture this incredibly rich, dark green, and aromatic carrier oil. By utilizing a careful, hand-skimmed aqueous flotation process, the precious fixed oils from the fruit pulp are gathered completely free from the inner seeds, ensuring an authentic, unrefined, and exceptionally safe botanical ingredient for natural cosmetics.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS & DISCLAIMERS
