Synergies | Recipes - Energizing Basil & Peppermint Foot Cream
- 5 ml Basil essential oil (Ocimum basilicum)
- 10 ml Peppermint essential oil (Mentha piperita)
- 60 ml Shea Butter (Vitellaria paradoxa)
- 25 ml Coconut carrier oil (Cocos nucifera)
- 5 ml Vitamin E oil (Tocopherol)
How to mix: In a double boiler, gently melt the Shea Butter and Coconut carrier oil. Once melted, remove from heat and let it cool slightly. Add the Basil essential oil, Peppermint essential oil, and Vitamin E oil to the mixture. Stir well to combine the ingredients. Pour the mixture into a clean container and let it cool completely before use.
Caution: When using essential oils, it is crucial to always dilute them with a carrier oil or in a diffuser, as applying undiluted oils directly to the skin may cause irritation or adverse reactions.
