Kinda sad about this one

I've been using sandalwood for over a decade. When Mysore became practically unavailable I switched to New Caledonian and have been lucky to smell some really good ones, as well as some not so good ones. Of course natural products vary a lot, but unfortunately I'm pretty sure this isn't real S. austrocaledonicum. There's maybe the slightest bit of santalol, a lot of amyris, and a hint of something minty. It's nice enough, but it isn't sandalwood. I'm still obsessed with eOil's products and absolutely amazing service and will always recommend them above any other local supplier, but unfortunately this one's a miss.

Hi Drew. Thank you for taking the time to review our oils and to give others your insights. It is always much appreciated.
We are sorry this product wasn't up to your expectation and we hope that the next batch of S. austrocaledonicum will receive your better reviews.
Like you pointed out correctly, natural batches may vary a lot.
Your reviews, encouragement and support are always valued and welcome.
