Description
Honeybush is a flowering shrub native to the coastal and mountainous areas of South Africa's Western and Eastern Cape provinces.
It belongs to the genus Cyclopia and includes about 24 species.
The plant gets its name from the sweet, honey-like scent of its bright yellow flowers. Honeybush tisane is made from the leaves, stems, and flowers of the plant, which are fermented and dried.
