    REPORTED BENEFITS & PROPERTIES

Rhassoul is a clay only collected in Morocco, from the underground galleries of the Atlas Mountain range of North Africa. Meaning “washing" clay, Rhassoul is particularly rich in silica and magnesium.

The clay is traditionally used to prepare a soft and purifying cleansing masks for body, face and hair.

With its exceptional ability to absorb impurities without irritating the skin, Rhassoul is an essential part of hammam rituals.

Unlike shampoos and soaps, Rhassoul contains no surfactants and cleans solely by naturally pulling or attracting impurities and fats. Exceptionally soft, it does not remove the protective film on the skin and hair and does not irritate sebaceous glands.
