  • 0.3g Dried Cut Ginseng Root (ensure it's suitable for decoction/simmering)
  • 0.2g Black Peppercorns (whole or lightly cracked)
  • 350ml (approx. 12 fl oz) Fresh Water
  • Optional: Lemon wedge for serving

Equipment:

  • Small Saucepan with Lid
  • Fine-Mesh Strainer
  • Your Favourite Mug

Brewing Method:

  1. Simmer the Roots: Combine the dried Licorice Root and Ginseng Root with 350ml of fresh water in the small saucepan. Bring to a gentle simmer and let it cook, covered, for 5 minutes. This helps extract the properties from the tougher botanicals.
