How to Use Oregano Essential Oil Organic

 

Aromatherapy:

 

Diffuse 2–3 drops with other oils (e.g., lemon, rosemary, or eucalyptus) in winter to purify the air and boost natural immunity.

Topical (Always Dilute!):

 

Massage: Use 1–3 drops per 10ml carrier oil for aching muscles, joints, or fungal infections (patch test before use; do not use on sensitive or broken skin).

Compress: Mix into a compress for chest or sinus application during colds or congestion (external use only).

Skin Care: Apply diluted oil to problem areas to fight acne, fungal, or bacterial infections.

INSTRUCTIONS OF USE

Please note: 

 

Oregano essential oil can cause irritations to the skin (DERMO CAUSTIC). NEVER USE PURE ON THE SKIN. USE FOR LIMITED PERIOD ONLY (1-3 weeks max

Oregano essential oil is soluble in oils. Not soluble in water.

Cooking

 

  • Cooking +++:1drop to 20 ml, in association with other herbal, citrus or spicy essential oils, is enough to aromatise your vegetable oils.
    • Season with salt, pepper, chilies, garlics… Add sundried tomatoes… Let infuse for a few days and taste a drop of your blend on a small piece of bread. Add more Vegetable Oils, if necessary.
    • Use a few drops in vinaigrettes, mayo, for salads and pastas, to accompany fresh breads or
    • to make aromatized croutons (Cut stale bread in thick slices, or cubes. Sprinkle or spray on your aromatized oil, and toast/ grill in the oven for a few minutes until golden. Serve with soups, consommés, cheese, cold meats…)
    • On tomato sauces just before serving, in gourmet marmalades, achars, chutneys, preserves, honey...

Massages 

 

  • Massages Topical and targeted use++: Oregano essential oil must be highly diluted in an adequate support (oils or butter, neutral cream) before being applied on the skin. ADD 1 DROP OF OREGANO ESSENTIAL OIL TO 9 DROPS OF YOUR CARRIER. Apply and massage1-2 drops of your diluted oil on the solar plexus/torso/neck…during cold seasons or when travelling.
