SOME RECIPES | SYNERGIES

1. Sore Muscle Relief Massage Oil:

  • 2 tablespoons of jojoba oil or sweet almond oil
  • 10 drops of Wintergreen essential oil
  • 5 drops of Lavender essential oil
  • 5 drops of Frankincense essential oil

Combine all these ingredients into a small glass bottle, shake well, and massage onto sore muscles as needed. Always do a patch test first to ensure there is no skin irritation.

 

2. Tension Headache Relief Blend:

  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
  • 5 drops of Wintergreen essential oil
  • 5 drops of Peppermint essential oil
  • 5 drops of Lavender essential oil

Mix all ingredients in a small glass jar. Apply a small amount to your temples and back of your neck when you feel a headache coming on.

 

3. Invigorating Bath Soak:

  • 1 cup of Epsom salts
  • 5 drops of Wintergreen essential oil
  • 5 drops of Eucalyptus essential oil
  • 5 drops of Peppermint essential oil

Combine ingredients and store in a glass jar. Use 1/4 to 1/2 cup of the mixture in a warm bath for a refreshing and invigorating soak.

 

4. Natural Mouthwash:

  • 1 cup of distilled water
  • 2 teaspoons of baking soda
  • 3 drops of Wintergreen essential oil
  • 3 drops of Peppermint essential oil
  • 3 drops of Tea Tree essential oil

Combine all ingredients in a glass bottle and shake well. Use as a mouthwash, shaking before each use. Do not swallow.

 

5. Soothing Foot Soak:

  • 1/2 cup of Epsom salts
  • 5 drops of Wintergreen essential oil
  • 5 drops of Lavender essential oil
  • Warm water to fill a foot basin

Dissolve the Epsom salts and essential oils in the warm water. Soak your feet for 15-20 minutes for a relaxing treat.

Remember, Wintergreen essential oil contains methyl salicylate, which can be toxic in large amounts. It's important to use it sparingly and responsibly, and it should not be used with children, or pregnant or nursing women. As with any essential oil, it's always a good idea to do a patch test first to ensure there's no skin irritation, and to consult with a healthcare provider or aromatherapist if you have any concerns.
