Pogostemon cablin
Famous for its powerful and captivating scent, patchouli essential oil is a star in the perfume industry. Considered as luxurious ingredient, Patchouli essential oil is sought after for its deep base aroma. Patchouli essential oil’s aroma deepens and improves with age. In the late 60’s and 70’s, Patchouli together with sandalwood became the favourite aroma of the “peace and love” movement and was widely used in incense and body oils.

- Body massage use 1 to 6 drops essential oil for 10 ml carrier oil (0.5 to 2 % concentration) +++
- Face care use 1 to 3 drops essential oil for 10 ml carrier or base (0.5 to 1 % concentration) +++
- Body & Hair care use 2 to 6 drops essential oil for 10 ml carrier or base (1 to 2 % concentration) +++
- Bath First mix 10 to 15 drops of essential oil with 20 ml vegetable glycerine or 1 cup of Epsom salts +++
- Diffusion
- Ultrasonic Diffusers for air purification, use 10 mn 3 times a day. +++
- Spray Add 5 drops of essential oil for 10 ml of vegetable glycerine and add water +++

BLEND WELL WITH
- Any essential oils to add woody and earthy note to your blends. Patchouli aroma sticks (fixative) scents to skins and clothes and makes the aroma last longer.
- Amyris and Bay laurel leaf, West indies bay, Bergamot, Sweet Orange, Neroli and Petitgrain, Frankincense, Rose Geranium, Rose, Vetiver and Ylang-Ylang.
