INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
This is a pure, very concentrated, undiluted potent absolute. Only a very few drops (or low concentrations) are needed to achieve the most beautiful result.
For ease of use and dosage, but also to reveal the true nature of the aroma, you may choose to pre-dilute a little quantity of this pure absolute when you receive it, rather than using it neat and directly, in your creations.
A classic ratio is a 10% dilution in a perfumer’s base or a carrier oil (Jojoba (neutral), Sandalwood Nut oil (aromatic), etc.), depending on your preferences and end uses.
That is about 20 drops (1ml) of absolute per 10ml perfumer’s base/ Carrier oil). But you can much lower concentrations, to express all the layers and subtilities of this absolute.
In a clean, dark glass bottle add the number of drops to your preferred base, close, shake and label. Let infuse and keep your vial in a dark, cool place until needed. Use your pre-dilution, a few drops at a time, as it will still be very concentrated and intense.
Use it to:
- Make soliflore perfumes: this beautiful absolute can stand by itself in an oil or perfumer’s base.
- Explore making your very own natural perfume.
- Create roller perfume oil to apply to your wrists and other pulse points.
- Fragrance your skin care: Add a drop to your preferred neutral body cream or lotion.
Massages & body oils
- Body perfumed oils or massages use 1 to 6 drops absolute oil for 10 ml carrier oil (0.5 up to 2 % concentration)
- In creams or lotions to luxuriously perfume your own skin care routine use 1 to 3 drops pre-diluted absolute oil per 10 ml (0.5 to 1 % concentration)
Diffusion
- For the calming and enchanting aroma of this sacred flower absolute, a drop in your own blend of essential oils, to create a comforting, relaxed, refined, and welcoming atmosphere for special occasions or meditations.
- Just 1 drop or 2, on a strip of paper or pot pourri will diffuse its aroma for long, evolving with time.
Perfumery
- Champaca oil is mainly used in Natural and niche or custom-made perfumery. Blend it with other essential oils to create your own unique superior fragrance. (See suggestions under Blend well with tab)
- As a soliflore (a fragrance made of just 1 aroma) to enjoy the different facets of this special absolute.
