The absolute is a precious extract

COMPARING BLUE & WHITE LOTUS ABSOLUTE OILS

Both Blue and White Lotus Absolute Oils are revered for their captivating fragrances and powerful properties. However, they differ in their specific benefits and applications:

Blue Lotus (Nymphaea caerulea) is known for its sweet, flowery scent and is traditionally used to promote meditative states of mind and emotional well-being, while White Lotus (Nelumbo nucifera) carries a more delicate, floral aroma and is used for spiritual elevation and emotional harmony.

Blue Lotus is specifically recognized for its nervously relaxing and anxiety-relieving properties, while White Lotus is celebrated for its ability to inspire positivity and restore emotional balance.

In addition to its emotional and spiritual benefits, White Lotus is also valued for its hydrating and soothing effects on the skin, whereas Blue Lotus is more commonly used to enhance massage oils and aphrodisiac blends.

It can be directly incorporated,1-2 drops at a time, into 1 Tablespoon of your neutral cosmetic, milks, shampoos, and balms.

Or use a few drops of your pre-diluted lotus blend into your neutral base (See Absolutes General Use)

DIFFUSION, MEDITATION

Energetically and emotionally, white lotus absolute is known for its ability to calm and soothe.

During meditation, it is used to anoint the crown of the head and the third eye chakra to increase one’s spiritual growth.

Ultrasonic Diffusers +++

please note: As with most viscous essential oils or absolutes, White lotus oil is best used blended with other, more fluid essential oils, before use in an ultrasonic diffuser. By itself, it may stick to the sides or drop to the bottom of your device, reducing the diffusion power and making the cleaning of your diffuser more tedious:

  • To diffuse a feeling of calm, rounded harmony in your surrounding spaces, use 10 min 3 times a day.
  • Before meditations sessions, or simply as a support for calm and relaxation, you can apply 1 drop of pre-diluted sacred white lotus to the pulse points or to the crown of your head.
  • For calming breathing exercises, apply 1 drop to each inner wrist, join your hands palm to palm, and bring your wrist in front of your nose. Inhale, calmly and profoundly, once, or twice.

NATURAL PERFUMERY

  • The white Indian sacred lotus absolute can be a beautiful perfume just on its own (soliflore)
  • This absolute is powerful and can easily clutter a perfume if used incorrectly. When used sparingly it is quite versatile and can create rich blends of sweet or fruity florals and is beautiful in compositions with citrus top notes.
  • White Lotus blends well with any essential oil: citrus, florals, spices, mints, woods, and resins.  It uplifts citruses notes and soften herbal, “medicinal” notes.
  • It can also be used to calmly diffuse its luxurious flowery aroma into your cupboards, shelves, or drawers. A drop on ant paper scarp, paper linings, on potpourri, on scrap pieces of fabric, scented pouches…
  • To create ritual and ointment oils
